In addition to the link, there is also a bonus for identifying the background to C. Several previous questions are still up for grabs, including the 2nd of September.

A is definitely Colindale and C is either Westminster or Canary Wharf.

You have A and B but not C, D nor the inset. And the link is still up for grabs. As we have it so far..... Station A: Colindale - Station House [Chris M] Station B: St. James's Park - cabinet on westbound platform [Chris M] Station C: Background: Station D *Click any image for a larger version*

C is Southwark - it's the top of whatever the circular structure in the ticket hall is. D is neither Gloucester Road nor Elephant and Castle, but the latter is closer. The inset is not the Isle of Man.

The Circular structure on the gateline at Southwark is the GLAP [Attendant's box]. No one likes it, as the glass is not transparent, so you cant sit in it, it is big inside though.

D is Lambeth North. This is Memorex's photograph of the top of the emergency stairs. I will also take this opportunity to publicly thank him for being the only person to respond to my recent photo request. Below is his original version. (click for a larger version) Now you have to find the location of the background used in picture C; and the link between all of the stations featured - Lambeth North, Colindale, Southwark and St. James's Park. There are also plenty of earlier questions outstanding.

I'm wondering if the backgroud pic could be of the recent roadworks project on the A9 by Helmsdale.

If you call June 2005 "recent" then you are correct in every regard.

I was up that way about a year ago, and bits of it were still being worked on, although admittedly the main work seemed to have been completed. I didn't realise it had been going that long!
