I've been wondering for some time, why is High Street Kensington used for turning the weekend Ealing Broadway service? Surely, even at weekends, the volumes of people going through the city are greater than those going to High Street Kensington? Would it not be easier from an operational and passenger flow point of view to terminate at Mansion House?

It is usual for the weekend Ealing Broadway service to reverse at Tower Hill - it only reverses at High Street Kensington when engineering works mean there are not trains to run a full service, as explained in this thread.
