Very ecclesiastical - I think 1 is St Mary's Lincoln (right by the station) -, 3 is Lincoln Cathedral west front, 5 I'm pretty sure is Durham Cathedral.
I thought 2 was St Olafs, Wasdale Head - but it is too big and has no bell-cote.

3 is Lincoln Cathedral west front Just beat me to it! 5 I'm pretty sure is Durham Cathedral. I don't think the columns are "loud" enough for Durham. I'll hazard a guess at Salisbury, but it doesn't look quite right.

5 I'm pretty sure is Durham Cathedral. I don't think the columns are "loud" enough for Durham. ;D I *thought* but might be mis-remembering that the columns got less ostentatious as you got nearer the high altar. Sarum is a good suggestion too; but I've only ever spent about 5 minutes inside the building. It looks annoyingly familiar - if it's the nave looking towards the front could it be Lichfield?

Inset 2 looks way too clean to be anywhere other than in a museum, so I'm going for St Fagans in Wales.
