[Point me to another thread if appropriate]
At one point I read that there was a lot of vandalism and rock throwing east of some point on the District. This was leading to extra fences being constructed and a possible work action by drivers.
What is the latest news on this? Do I have my facts straight?

Drivers were not going to drive past Barking on the East, unless LU put up fencing and other measures, they met the drivers demands.

I saw the fence on Sunday en route to the depot, it must be around ten foot tall.

The vandalism and anti social behavior has dropped over the last few years due to more secure fencing, better CCTV, and more BTP presence. I personally use the DVA to announce "CCTV is operating on this train" when I see a group of teens get on my train, just to remind them..
