In another thread, it is discussed that South Harrow crew depot closed in 1992 under the 'company plan'. Were there a lot of other depots closed too? I know Loughton on the Central Line was closed around that time. I also know (from another thread) that the plan had a dramatic effect on 'remote booking on' and the duty content too. Is there any other notable points on the plan, as I think it sounds like quite an interesting subject.

It was interesting alright ;D
A complete company-wide shake-up of just about everything. From duties worked by most grades, to uniform, to grade names and how individual lines were to be run from a business point of view. It attempted to re-shape the whole combine. It wasn't the start of PPP, but certainly a toe in the water by management at least I think.
The change in grades and rosters also brought with it a change in staffing in some places - most notably to me in service control (although it wasn't even called that back then, we were just the signalling grades.)

Company plan also resulted in devolution of parts of the engineering function. From one signal department and one track department we ended up with seven line based signals and track teams and an internal contractor for each.
This was also the death of the AET grade, and on becoming Technical Officers their rostered hours of work went up, the only grade to have been so affected.
