While driving my rancid 'orrible class 66 north today I traversed the section of the North London Line between South Acton and Acton Wells Junction. Approaching Acton Wells I was minded to prepare the camera for a picture of North Acton from the overbridge but thought better of it as the light wasn't perfect.
As I passed over the bridge, what should be sitting in the platform? The Cravens 1960 TS track recording train! I would imagine that the staff on the platform heard me swearing.......
