Ah... Despite being based in this area [inset] for 6/7 weeks a year and a half ago... never wandered this way...

Thanks to the helpful sign on the bus shelter, the inset is identified as the Angel of Southsea.

Thanks to the helpful sign on the bus shelter, the inset is identified as the Angel of Southsea. Can't see it myself, but correct!

The Angel statue is apparently near Canoe Lake..so it's in the 'park' the other side of the road from the sea front. Never knew that!!!

Marylebone, for main location? It is somewhere in the passage from platforms to concourse at Marylebone. I wasn't more specific when labelling the photo 50 weeks ago, so I can't be more specific now. I didn' know about that statue either but then I've only lived in the area for 47 years..... This was taken on my second ever visit to Southsea last month (my first visit was in 1996) when I was walking from the hostel I was staying at to the gig in Eastney that was the reason I was there.
