GOOD NEWS. Already two groups ( who i will not name ) have come forward with plans to take two A60 units into preservation. Timing is everthing when you need the spares to keep these old girls working ;D, and right now everything at neasden that is not bolted to the floor, is heading to the scarp yard.

First of all, great news. Even if 5130 isn't safe at least some are!!!! ;D
They're getting rid of the spares to make it seem that the "A Stock" urgently needs replacing. That is what I call (no knocking me for this) the "S Stock" gestapo.
They always store disused underground stock in Norfolk, when I moved out there I saw a 59TS DM + T in Lenwade next to the "Bernard Matthews" turkey farm. I'll see some before they go to Newmaket to be incinerated. The A's are like Toyota Hilux pick-ups though, they will put up a fight.
