Just wondering
At Shepherd’s Bush, on the eastern side of Holland Park Round-a-bout there is a tall shaft. I assume it’s a ventilation shaft for the central line. It would be above the eastern end of the platforms below, where it is really narrow.
Lately, it seems to be making noise, like the fans inside have been turned on recently.
Does anyone know if:
a) it is a vent shaft
b) if it has been re-commissioned lately
c) does anyone know anything else about it
The shaft is hidden behind the tress in this photo - kinda hexagonal shape.
