Hi all.
I am hoping to soon purchase a Hornby Class 153 model, however, I am desparate to find out if the dummy BSI couplings can be removed and replaced with Kadee couplings.
Thank you

Not an easy change I would imagine! I've never used Kadees before, but they look tricky. Probably need to remove the body first. You'll have to line up the other train next to it first. What's it coupling to? 156? 142 (yes I saw it as a kid, and got on the wrong set!)?

I've got two class 153s. They have a socket for a working coupling. I'm not sure about Kadees, but if you put normal couplings on them, you have to remove the dummy coupling.

Oh so you can take the dummies out. Cool.
Thank you!
