Other than the info in 'Workhorses Of The london undergound' by J Graeme Bruce (anyone modelling LT departmental stock MUST have a copy of this book), I have little info on the above crane. I would like to know if it was black or maroon, lned or unlined. The only pictures I have are monochrome. Also, does anyone have the dimensions of its later 'runner', J683. Thanks.

Looks like J682 was originally 6ton ballast wagon 50 built in 1882 - reconstructed drawing on p 142 of Snowdon's book. (or did you already know that?)
