West Ham +3. Was 14th May 1999 the day the Jubilee line platforms opened? According to Clive's UndergrounD Line Guides at www.davros.org/rail/culg/jubilee.html, Jubilee Line platforms opened at West Ham on 14th May 19 79! Further research suggests that this was actually the date the North London Line opened it's (now defunct) platforms on the route between Stratford and North Woolwich. This quiz answer seems to be a real team effort.

Great team effort! Everything solved. Correct early entries from Dstock7080 and pgb as well, the latter also getting three of the five insets correct. So, the answers: Main photograph: West Ham - roundel on platform wall Inset 1: West front of Wells Cathedral Inset 2: Entrance to Shrewsbury Castle Inset 3: River Thames from the north bank by the Greenwich Merridian Inset 4: Broad Walk, Walmer Castle Inset 5: Monmouth Millennium Table Bonus answer: The Jubilee Line extension opened between Stratford and Canning Town 10 years ago today. *Click any image for a larger version*
