Hello,
I was travelling on the DLR today, and somewhere between Limehouse and Westferry I noticed a disused trackbed on a viaduct joining the line from what I'd guess is roughly a north-westerly direction. I've looked on the internet but not been able to find any information about it. Anyone know?

This is the disused Salmon's Lane Curve. It dates from the time when the line of the DLR was the Blackwall Branch of the LTS line, and carried an immense amount of freight to and from the various docks in the area. This curve enabled trains from the "country" end of the LTS to have direct access to the branch, and thence to the docks.

Ah, I had a slight hunch it was something to do with the old Blackwall line. Thanks Slugabed.
