B looks like the track for platform 5 at Upminster, with the buffer and track for platform 6 behind (platform 6 being the Romford shuttle line).

B looks like Upminster D looks like Clapham Junction, the platform for Milton Keynes trains. Just to add, I was there last Friday, there is a frightful curve, that makes Waterloo Bakerloo Line look tame!

A could be the subway from NR Waterloo East to Southwark.
D is Clapham Junction

Based on the answers offered by others, I'm gonna stick me neck out and say D is the odd one out as the other three are North of the River Thames and D is the only one South of the River Thames.
Either that or D, again the odd one out......this time because it has no LU services whereas all the others have both LU and NR services.
Probably completely wrong, but there you go! ;D ;D ;D

According to Terence Cuneo's painting of Clapham Junction that he did towards the end of steam, tube stock did use platforms 16/17 as what appears to be 1938 stock is in the picture!!

Four locations to spot today, an inset plus an extra point for spotting the odd one out, and why. Still looking for an answer to the inset, plus picture A and the link...... Just wondering, is it an odd one out or a link job? ;D ;D

A is Stratford, specifically it's above the stairs from the westbound Central Line to the western subway.

A good thought, but again not the answer I'm after. Neither Clapham Junction nor Upminster are the odd one out.

Euston LO surely has dual electrification: OHL and 3rd rail. The two DC platforms were also previously 4th rail and converted.

So you are saying that Clapham Junction is the only one with just a single electrification method? If you are it's true, but not relevant!

Is it about LU/LO terminating services? It's only at Euston that they use an actual bay platform. At the others, the tracks continue past the platform end.Upminster is a clue, but the picture of the NR buffers there is to throw us off the scent?

Hmmm.... It's less to do with the actual locations, and more to do with what serves them.......

Euston is the only one not served by diesel trains or has diesels running through it. Normally..except that trhe Scotrails use Class 66 power to reverse in Wembley to get to the ECML.

It's nothing to do with diesels, although Euston is the odd one out.

I can only suggest that some trains have to change electrification mode ex-Euston. That and the fact that Euston is only a terminus whereas CJ, Upminster, Stratford have terminating trains as well as through-running trains.

Do the stations other than Euston have trains that pass through without stopping? Where as luckily Euston does not!

It is about trains, but not where they go or what type of power they use.
