Has anyone "on high" managed to decide what will happen to 7008? There is the obvious option of refurbing it, but given the nonstandard way the new interior was bolted into the trailer car it will probably end up being done last.
There is also the option of converting it into a Sandite car, to replace 6036 when the A stocks go to the depot in the sky - unless Metronet would rather borrow the Chiltern bubble cars for that these days...

I can't imagine we can afford to lose a unit, so they'll eventually have to refurb it properly, although it will always be a bit non-standard.
Is the Met Sandite unit going to go when the rest of the A stocks go? Can't they just keep it until it falls apart?

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

The original prototype refurb will be returned to BTUK and re-refurbished into a standard 'D' Stock style.

But it will still be the 'odd one out' surely - for starters the windows that have been cut out of the car ends are a different size
