It's a single part question today, but there is a bonus point available for working out why this location was chosen for today. *Click image for a larger version*

Reminds me of North Harrow or Rusilip Manor, but I don't think it is either.
Totteridge and Whetstone?

Not a lot to go on!
It has to date from pre-LT ownership so at a guess its either on the High Barnet branch or on Eastern end of the Central.

Sorry for the delay. This was the correct answer. Does anyone know why this location was chosen for this day though?

Is it the same date that the Ealing extension of the Central was opened?

It is related to openings, but not that one.

Is it to do with a Central Line opening?

Is it to do with a Central Line opening? Not to do with the Central Line opening...... Think more locally.....

Nothing to do with earthquakes in East Acton, then... (as in the Goons).

Nope, it's directly related to the railway

Is it the partial reopening after the Chancery Lane derailment?

Is it the partial reopening after the Chancery Lane derailment? That's good enough for me. My answer sheet doesn't refer to a partial reopening, but meh! It's close enough to scoop the point!

This was exactly what I had in mind - after the derailment the line reopened in stages, and the 23rd is the anniversary of the section through East Acton being reopened. It wasn't the final section to reopen so it was a partial reopening of the line, although a complete reopening of the station.
