A double ender as well. The a60 just out classes all other stocks. Those toy train skoda's wont last anywhere near the A60 life span.

Well said, they may not last even half the life span of the A60s.

Like a look into the future when the scrapping starts (the 'A's, I mean!)

Let's hope that can be put off as long as possible.

Listen if it wasn't for the 92TS think of the high unemployement 3M Scotchtape would have experienced!
As for the Skoda reference too my little chuff chuffs, I find that insulting! Volkswagen don't deserve that comparison to BREL....
The 92TS with it's highest failure rate of the fleet is saddly in desperate need of some TLC, but with no more in the pot it will make a perfect representant of London during the 2012 Olympics. Thankfully I hope the A stock will contine to shine through as a example of Great British Engineering at it's best, when this country didn't do things on the cheap!

...a perfect representant of London during the 2012 Olympics As will the C Stock, bodysides scuffed and bare through repeated anti-graffiti 'buffing'. Are these delapidated wrecks really going to be allowed to work though West Ham, an Olympic 'Gateway' station, in 2012? What a pity the money wasted on 'Valuing Time' and '360' couldn't have been diverted to a repaint programme. After all, no one would expect cars painted c1990 to still be presentable nearly 20 years' later!
