I couldn't believe how fast the terminating train heading into Brixton went across the scissors crossover!
Also, I'm sure it mentioned that the 67 stock was supplemented by 72 stock from the 'Northern' line, which is wrong isn't it - it was from the Bakerloo?
I was impressed by the quality although a little disappointed there wasn't any footage of the trains going into the Brixton/Walthamstow sidings, although the trip to Northumberland Park was really interesting.

No it is correct. Several trains of 1972 mk1s were split up and placed at the inner ends of the the 67s. There became trailers and middle motors. This allowed another 4? trains to be formed a well as cover of damaged cars scrapped. The 72 cars can be identified by the lack of calling on light next to the 'M' door, although it is not a view often seen!
Some 1972mk1 cars also went to the Bakerloo Line which had suffered more casualties over time.

I couldn't believe how fast the terminating train heading into Brixton went across the scissors crossover! Well, you've got a pair of quite long sidings there - there is a full speed overlap between (most of) the platform and a train sat in the sidings. I cant remember the distances off the top of my head, but there is more than a quarter-of-a-mile still to go when you hit the crossover.

I remember reading that when testing trains would be entering the stations as the rear of the previous train was leaving. When I last went to Brixton, the train came flying into the station and then did an emergency stop-that's ATO for you!

They were converted in the late 1980s. Three more 72TS cars replaced damaged 67s. You can also tell that a car is a 72TS MkI because it will say 'Metro-Cammell 1972' on the step plates (instead of 1967).

How different is the Victoria line speed wise compared to other DEVs?
