I recently bought a 3-car 1992TS from MetroModels. Inside was the usual instructions, but also a note that production on their 1992/95/96 stock has been suspended, due to low demand and increase in costs. I therefore suggest that anybody wishing to buy some MetroModels modern era stock do so as soon as is possible. They will, however, continue to provide EFE models and services.

Yes, sadly they've had a few problems. The cost of the brass they used for the kits has risen I believe and of course we are in hard times at the moment.
The development of the standard stock and the 67/72ts re-release is also on hold.

I hear their Sri Lanka production has stopped, being too expensive. If this is the case, I hope Mr. Polley can find another place to build them. My 1992TS works great! Very reliable indeed! I like the bar coupling system, as it allows cars to be close together, but still be efficient on curves/points.
