I was at Mile End today (18th Sept) and the train which I got on at 12:50pm westbound was a double bubble! The cabs of 7527 and 7532 were connected in the middle.
The last set of doors seemed awfully close to the railings at Aldgate East where I got off!

It has been running around for at least two weeks now. I've been trying to get a photo of it, but can't seem to find it in a platform whenever I see it ;D ;D

At peak time, with the refurb process in full swing, there's about 3 D stock spares at Ealing Common - though if those trains have faults etc, we're knackered. I don't believe Upminster holds any spares during the peaks. At other times, there will be at least 7 spare trains at both Ealing Common & Upminster - though again, they won't neccessarily all be fit for service (maintenance, deep clean, etc).
All C stocks are based at Hammersmith (H&C) depot - so if we have a C stock with a defect, it has to be changed over at Edgware Road - the defective train then becomes a Circle or H&C line problem.

I saw where it was stabled (couldn't have been in a darker place : - service changes permitting, it *should* be running as set 32 today. That means there's a * possibillity* of it being about * roughly* (can't reproduce the WTT as it's an internal document): Between 0600 & 0630 (Parsons Green - Earls Court) Between 0630 & 0700 (Earls Court - Wimbledon) Between 0700 & 0750 (Wimbledon - Tower Hill) Between 0750 & 0850 (Tower Hill - Wimbledon) Between 0850 & 1025 (Wimbledon - Upminster) Between 1025 & 1200 (Upminster - Wimbledon) Between 1200 & 1340 (Wimbledon - Upminster) Between 1340 & 1525 (Upminster - Wimbledon) Between 1525 & 1705 (Wimbledon - Upminster) Between 1705 & 1845 (Upminster - Richmond) Between 1845 & 1940 (Richmond - Tower Hill) Between 1940 & 2030 (Tower Hill - Ealing Broadway) Between 2030 & 2130 (Ealing Broadway - Tower Hill) Between 2130 & 2220 (Tower Hill - Ealing Broadway) Between 2220 & 0000 (Ealing Broadway - Upminster) Obviously if the service gets re-formed the train could be re-numbered to something else - or it could go defective, etc. You now have the info, can someone get a pic of it?

I actually travelled home on it yesterday - but didn't think to take any pictures of it - probably caused by having done a 10 hour day doing C stock refreshers
