Having filled in most of the significant gaps in my LT book 'wants' list at the Acton open weekend I came across a picture in 'Workhorses Of |The London Underground' by J Graeme Bruce of L9. This was apparently one of a pair of former Battery locos rebuilt as straight Electric Locos and used for transporting stores between Acton and Ealing common. They lasted until 1969 and were always known as the 'Ealing Battery Locos' long after the batteries were removed. Does anyone have any further info on them such as drawings, dimensions or pictures as they look like the sort of thing that just has to be built in model form! Thanks.

The known history of these locos will appear in my "District Electric Trains" series in Underground news, eventually. I will also do some drawings. It will be a few months I'm afraid.
