Yesterday is still open for business, and apologies for being a bit early, but the shifts dictate early posts this week! Today, a single part question, but with three extra points up for grabs. For ease, the insets are numbered one to three from left to right. *Click image for a larger version*

The main picture cries out L&SWR,and even has BR "OFF" signal and loudspeaker visible. My Guess is Wimbledon Pk. Inset C looks very much like Camden Lock, looking East from the roadbridge.

I have to be careful here, because I'm awfully bad at not recognising my own photos! But I'm pretty sure that inset 1 is the Peter Pan statue in Hyde Park and that it isn't my photo!

The chappie who played bowles rather than fight the Spanish?
(Apologies - too much work, too much Absolut, not enough attention in History)

The chappie who played bowles rather than fight the Spanish? (Apologies - too much work, too much Absolut, not enough attention in History) You're thinking of Francis Drake, but it isn't him. It isn't Columbus either. It may help if I say the statue is in Greenwich.

On top of the same hill as the Old Greenwich Royal Observatory is a statue of General James Wolfe, (1727-59) looking out towards the river Nice one! Never would have guessed it!
