At around 8am this morning, a couple of trains top & tailed with class 66's turned up at Upminster (having come from Barking via the recently installed crossover) in connection with the track replacement work this weekend. Unfortunately I am unable to get any images as my camera (a temporary phone till next month) can't communicate with my PC - but I'm hoping someone else may be able to get down there and take images.......... Excellent opportunities are available outside the station looking west and within the station itself. If you are an appropriately trained & licenced member of LU staff who is able to access the walkway to the depot, you may well also find one of them part way along 51 depot reception road

Ok Colin ! Hint taken !!! ;D Both pictures from areas accessible to the public. (Didn't seem to be anything on 51 rd when I was about) In the next shot you can see the temporary flashing orange lights warning of the presence of the C2C train. Colin, sorry if these breach size rules, Photobucket insist they are the same size, even though they seem to display different and I can't remember what the permitted size is !!

They're ok pixel wise but way over on file size (Rule 7 - Rules are here). I think we'll turn a blind eye on this occasion
