If my memory serves me correctly, the District is not running to Ealing Broadway over the Bank Holiday weekend. It is instead terminating at Ealing Common. Just 2 questions here:-
1) Would I be right in saying that at Ealing Common, the trains will reverse from the NB platform into the depot, then back into the SB platform, before running back towards the City?
2) Where is the track replacement taking place (I see the Piccadilly is also not running Acton Town to Uxbridge)?

Your memory is indeed correct  1) Would I be right in saying that at Ealing Common, the trains will reverse from the NB platform into the depot, then back into the SB platform, before running back towards the City? They will indeed be going via the depot - but there is no southbound or northbound on the District (or Picc come to that)!  ;D 2) Where is the track replacement taking place (I see the Piccadilly is also not running Acton Town to Uxbridge)? Park Royal - I suspect that Ealing Broadway & Hanger Lane junction are on the same traction current section, hence the District suspension. |

They will indeed be going via the depot - but there is no southbound or northbound on the District (or Picc come to that)! ;D Sorry, I was thinking geographically. |

The current rail section is Acton Town to North Ealing & Ealing Broadway both Roads ( East & Westbound )
Either section switches will be opened west of Ealing Common station, or 15 metre gaps will be cut in the current rails to protect the possession. Current will only be feed from the Acton Town sub-station.
