I noticed this morning that the info board at Northwood stating that two early Baker Street trains were cancelled until further notice. Anyone know what the plan is here?
As a side note, the service was terrible today-there was a disruption and this caused problems. What was the disruption? I don't have an issue with the delays-they happen, what I thought was poor was when a northbound train was short worked and reversed North to South at Northwood, no PAs were made. Luckily, seeing my starter go red and seeing the Northbound starter go red, I worked out the reversal was on. I then had to yell through the hopper windows on the train that it was a southbound train, eventually clearing the southbound platform! Bad form! ;D

Don't know if it's related but there are some issues at Neasden at the moment with some trains being stabled elsewhere at present.

It is related to the problems in Neasden Depot. We have 5 trains cancelled out of the North end of Neasden Depot, 2 Watford, 2 Uxbridge & 1 empty to Rickmansworth. All start from Wembley sidings and pick up their southbound workings from Wembley P6. I was advised yesterday that this may be the case for at least the next 10 days.

Bad form! ;D Unfortunately, there was a signal problem in the Swiss Cottage area on the Northbound road. Some of the trains that were trapped behind the incident train were indeed short tripped due to excessive late running. T/Ops and stations concerned were all informed, so PA's should have been made by the appropriate staff. When we have a problem like this, it means we have to stop the Southbound service from Wembley and Harrow, otherwise we would block back all the way to Aldgate and back out again.

Strangely enough, metman, in response to your comment, I just answered this question there before coming here. ;D Today's problems have, happily, occurred whilst I am on leave. However, it would appear, judging from the informed post, that my learned colleague above had to deal with them ;D ;D ;D ;D

Are the Neasden depot alleged signal "irregs" still not sorted yet? It would seem not, the depot is still in emergency working. The wembley canteen rumour mill reckons it was a case of a signal clearing in the depot, with the route set for an adjoining road, however true that is.

neasdon depot is being investigated by westinghouse over the issue it seems 2 cards have played up and they wanna know why neasdon ;D its Neasden Hence why it's taking so long - they couldn't find the place on their sat-navs for the first few days. The rumour I also heard was that the problem with the cards was down to the fact that if they purchased a few brand new ones, instead of re-using the old ones (and borrowed ones) then reliability would improve dramatically.

There must be an extra train stabled at Uxbridge aswell, all roads are full instead of 1 being empty over-night.
