Another single part question today, but another bonus point up for grabs. We need the location and why it was chosen for today. Clue: Having seen the answer, I can see why! *Click image for a larger version*

The colour scheme on the right is making me think Bakerloo platforms at Piccadilly Circus

Picc Circus +1
Do kaleidoscopes have anything to do with the date?

The red in the middle is making me think Central line somewhere... at a complete guess, Bank, and 15th February is decimal day.

I'm going with Picc Circus as well. Having now been to Down Street (some 10 years after I was supposed to go!) I can assure you it looks nothing like that.

Down St. was one of my favourite and most often visited work places, the strange noises and eerieness tend to bother lots of people especially when left there alone but I loved it there.

I ought to be shot for not getting TCR especially as it hasn't really changed since I did the CrossRail surveys there in the 1990s and prior to that one of the biggest comms cabling diversions as part of Central Line enabling works!

The reason why Tottenham Court Road was chosen for yesterday sill hasn't been correctly identified. There are also still a couple of insets to identify from the 11th.

The reason why Tottenham Court Road was chosen for yesterday sill hasn't been correctly identified. Anything to do with the London Astoria Closing on the 15th?

The reason why Tottenham Court Road was chosen for yesterday sill hasn't been correctly identified. As Stig alludes, wasn't yesterday the start of construction on CrossRail?

The answer is nothing as relevant to the forum as Crossrail

Feb 15 is the anniversary of all the original lifts being taken out of passenger service @ TCR.

I don't know if that is the case or not, but it certainly isn't the answer on my sheet......
The previous day could give you a clue though......
