Was on a refurb D stock rake this afternoon, and after nearly every station in Zone 1 featured an announcement (CCTV, security etc...)

It off sets those drivers who don't like it and disable the voice throughout ! Mmm, blissfull peace and quiet and no automated verbal diarrhea |

Though Blind customers obviously have a different viewpoint (and is one of the main reasons for the voice!!).
