So come on everyone, how old is that 20mph sign at Putney Bridge? About 3 months I assume you have seen something with the red sign / cream writing .....sadly replaced by a conventional one aprox 2 - 3 months ago

I wonder if someone paid LU for a new sign to add the old Dr one to their collection?

You'll probably find that it acutally went walkies not long after the DEV fell into the hands of someone.

Which is a great shame if it did. I wonder if it went into the Museum Collection??? - Have to do some investigative research...

There have been many a rumour about where it went. If it went where I think it went, then it's gone to a good home, but I keep forgetting to ask the bloke to see if its true. I would be very surprised if this particular item was thrown away.

IIRC there is a similar 5mph sign still in place at the Ealing end of Ealing Common depot.

Yeah, the 5mph sign at Ealing Common is still there, bright and shiny. I guess the pile of tracks and the depot security makes it much harder for it to go walkies.
I hope it stays there well after the D stock is gone...
