Swanage are using West Coast Mark I & II carriages for the Wareham service. As I understand it the 4TC was planned to be used but wasn't ready in time. I don't know if it'll be used once the work being carried out is completed.

If I remember correctly, the Heritage Railway magazine back in January listed the following as planned for this year: *20142 & 20227 hauling the 4TC & LMS Saloon 45029 from Wembley Park to Quainton Road. Date to be confirmed according to class20locosociety.co.uk/events*Two weekends of Steam On The Met in September. The latest issue states that it is now one weekend *1938 Tube Stock runs. The latest issue of Heritage Railway Magazine states that the 4TC could be used for Swanage Railway's Wareham service from mid June, if work being carried out on it is completed in time.

20142 will be appearing at the Mid Norfolk Railway diesel gala next weekend instead of Steam on the Met www.mnr.org.uk/events/autumn-diesel-gala-2-2016-09-09/I assume Met 1 will either still be at Mid Norfolk Railway (not in use) or have moved to Quainton Road (unless it's going elsewhere before BRC's gala on 2nd October).

A 4TC set was used in 1993 with Sarah Siddons and L99, for Steam on the District between Ealing Broadway and West Kensington.
However as far as I am aware, currently the 4TC set is only allowed on the outer sections of the Met.
