Metropolitan carriage no. 353 is on loan to the Kent & East Sussex Railway from the LTM for 18 months. |

Which also raises the possibility of it running with the District Railway 4-wheeler which is also on the KESR, but has been in the workshops for a couple of years undergoing refurbishment. I don't now how far that is from completion, I haven't ventured in the C&W workshop for a while.

It seems a little odd to me to send the carriage away on loan just a few days before the open weekend at the museum.
