Current or historic termini? How about, Cockfosters is the odd one out as it was built to be a terminus and still is. The others have all been through stations as well as being a terminus for a while.

I'm gonna go with West Ealing and West Ruislip. Today is the last booked passenger working of the parliamentary service? That seems like a good suggestion. I used to have the South to East curve at Greenford go past my back garden. Close to one Christmas in the 1990s there were steam specials from Paddington to Paddington that used that chord. (But I digress).

It gives of a DLR feel. But not on the original sections. Somewhere on the Beckton branch?

+1. It is looking across to where the link down to Clapham Junction is. I ought to have recognised it.

It looks like either Wapping or Rotherhithe. I haven't been to either often enough to work out which one.

It reminds me of Grange Hill. But I don't know of a connection between Grange Hill and the marathon.

I need to stop guessing, having been in touch with our wonderful under-wizzard, I now know too much. But once again, congratulations to our amazing quiz setter.

City of York No3 (+1) for the main, sometimes driven by our Junior Under-wizzard of quiz. Places, are they somehow connected with previous DD meet-ups?

Main, Westminster station, District & Circle Line Platform ? Insert, Windsor Castle, St George’s Chapel ? +1 for each. What an appropriate choice by our Quizsetter General.

I think the link is tunnel mouths. But I am not sure where any of them are. The first might be Pudding Mill Lane.

I looked at Metropolitan Steam Locomotives, Frank Goudie, 1990. It states that the F class were very similar to the E class without saying if they were LHD or RHD. The chapter on the E class doesn't say if they are LHD or RHD. So sadly, I can't answer your question.

I was going to say that the flooring looks similar to that used at Gants Hill. But Gants Hill isn't circular. Hanger Lane sounds like a good call. +1

I presume that the next station will begin with an E. Arsenal and Burnt Oak are the last Underground Stations alphabetically to start with an A and a B, but Crossharbour is a DLR station. But all four of the stations pictured have had a different name at some point in their past, although Crossharbour has reverted to its original name. This is a long-winded way of saying that I cannot spot a link.

I noticed the new Met line diagrams too. They seem to have the same thickness of line as the full width line diagrams, so that stations feel very crowded together. This is unlike the Circle & H&C and the District line small line diagrams, which have a thinner line than the full-width diagrams. (Not that it would work for those lines).
