I think the link is tunnel mouths. But I am not sure where any of them are. The first might be Pudding Mill Lane.

I agree as I think the first is Pudding Mill, and C and D are also Crossrail portals, it is B that I can't recognise yet

B looks like the Connaught Tunnel portal in North Woolwich

I agree with A and B being the portals at Pudding Mill Lane & North Woolwich. C is Royal Oak portal while D is the Connaught Tunnel (Prince Regent end).
