It would never do for a train to be allowed to take off with cracks in a component. Well, quite! I'm led to believe it is a problem with the anti roll bars, so I can see why they nee to check them. I don't think that they are reducing ticket prices, although I reckon that 1st class ticket holders may be refunded the difference to a standard class fare. I read somewhere there was a £5 reduction

That video does seem a bit dubious, but then it isn't captioned as being a video of the incident. No, it isn't-it's typical current BBC sloppy journalism-on screen or online, inaccurate, biased and sensationalist stories, rarely if ever backed up with evidence. This particular video is just a gross example of that. Good old bbc causing mayhem
