So that will change when the full SSR timetable for resignalling finally arrives with Tower Hill reversers extended to Barking, based on 8tph interworked services. The arrival of the extension of Tower Hill Reversers to Barking may not happen things to do with planed future services do not always come to always get done.

The May and Baker factory was at Dagenham East, the ground frame on the LTSR down line was released by Barking LT signal cabin. West Ham had a number of factories but after the District Line was re signalled by the LTE no connections with factories in the West Ham area remained.

Re a replacement for the TRT, lots was spent on a asset inspection train ,formed of cars from the Victoria Line and it was found to be underpowered so more cars added, then the project was scrapped not that long ago.

Well one reason is because more S Stock 8 car trains had to stabled in the sidings when Neasden Depot was being rebuilt, now South Harrow sidings has 12 Roads . Currently 1 Piccadilly train overnight in Ux platform, 11 in Sth Harrow.

Tomorrow after the RMT meeting surely strike dates will be announced. Company has doubled down in saying 5% is final and will be imposed regardless. Interesting what will happen next. The RMT National Executive Committee (NEC) are meeting on Thursday 21 December 2023 they will decide what action will be taken as a result of the ballot of the members on London Understand.

The track recording train (TRV) has two 1960 cravens motor cars and LUL had to ask CHT to loan them the motor’s from the 1960 motor cars that belong to Cravens Heritage Trains to keep the TRV running. This was cheaper than using cars of the 67/72TS units that were scrapped. The TRV is a 1973 stock trailer car which has a the kit to do the track recording.
