Yeah, one of the 1927 Bakerloo trailers mostly in 3 car units. These cars, along with the 1938DM weren't around for much longer!

I hope not! At least 5042 survived its collision-the 1938 stock car didn't I would guess.

How does something like that happen? Well, it's like this Guv. I was distracted by a bird which suddenly flew across the train in front of me and I didn't notice the dolly was still on. I mean, the signalman had already called me out so I went.

How does something like that happen? Train left the siding, then was required to go back (can't recall why). Rather than completing the route as the points are spring toggled and going back in. An Operating Official instructed that they go back from there. You can see what happened next.

I think one of the best examples of this type of incident is the 1999 Gunnersbury incident on a D stock when the last bogie decided to go up the North London Line . As I recall the root cause was an out of gauge negi rail at Richmond that had been knocking shoes off for a few days. Anyone got any photos of that?
There been a few of this type of thing at Upminster as well.

What happened to the front of the 38 ts? My guess is that the pic was taken no later than the early 70s. Isn't that when all the standard stock trailers were removed from Bakerloo service?

What happened to the front of the 38 ts? I think it had a run in with A60 DM 5042! Actually I was on 5042 last night! Photo taken in the early 70s I think.

There was a major collision in Neasden Depot in '73 or '74.An A stock stabling from Wembley was going way too fast and hit another A stock which then hit a 38 stock behind that, the 38 stock pictured could have been involved in that incident.
