Took the TS09 again tonight. Very unpleasantly hot, much hotter than the 69 stock I took immediately after.
The car number was 13007. Is that the train which had the hot air probs? If not this is very disappointing!

If not this is very disappointing! No, that is part of train 4, which is one of the main production trains, which have supposedly had the ventilation problems sorted. I agree, something needs to be done about the ventilation on these trains - it's becoming very apparent now, with warmer weather, just how bad they are.

Took the TS09 again tonight. Very unpleasantly hot, much hotter than the 69 stock I took immediately after. I did the opposite, I got off a 67ts and Brixton and saw an 09ts in the opposite platform. Cue: quick scurry across with case, back to Stockwell, then finally to Brixton again. I found the 09ts cooler than the 69ts I got before and after. The car number was 13007. Is that the train which had the hot air probs? If not this is very disappointing![/quote] All the car numbers that I saw on the train I was on ended in 5.

If not this is very disappointing! I was on train 4 on Monday (on car 14008 from Blackhorse Road - Walthamstow, and 11007 from there to Tottenham Hale), and it didn't seem as hot as the 67TS I then went on to Kings Cross. But the last time I was on an 09TS, train 5 from Euston to Stockwell (not sure which car, but it was unit 11009), when the weather wasn't as hot as it has been this week, it didn't seem any cooler than usual. Maybe some cars are better than others, or it depends on what part of the line you're on. Train 4 departing Tottenham Hale:

Just like to say how horrible these trains are, 2 days ago a 09TS at Kings Cross breaks down and no lights , aircon, takne out of service... Yesterday, at Victoria , at rush hour, train 012 develops a technical fault meaning the train travelled southbound to VAuxhall at 9MPH where it was taken out of service . But the train had no where to go so it just continued to Brixton at 9 MPH, delaying the excellent 1967 tube stocks behind it and causing major delays to the line.

I presume you could build a complex system such as a train and put it into service with absolutely no issues whatsoever?

@carlovel1 - the 09ts does not have air con, it has forced air ventilation!
@tomcakes - Bombardier must be the worst when it comes to faults. I'm bored of hearing about faults with regards to all of their products in London.
The 09ts is getting ridiculous now...every day or two I look on the TFL website there seems to be delays caused by a faulty train on the Victoria Line - no doubt the 09ts was to blame most of the time.

The introduction of TS09's seems to be stepping up. I see them very regularly now. They all have the same disappointing ventilation. :-(
Ah well, it is only unbearable for two months a year...

Ah well, it is only unbearable for two months a year... Have you ever been on the Victoria Line at around 9am or 5pm? Hottest. Ever.

I rode on the stock twice today. Bit different than last time. There were like 7 I saw today.
Regarding the 'This is a Victoria line train to..' announcement comes 15 seconds after the main station announcement, and generally comes after the train has already left the station.
It wasn't that warm in the train but when I was standing up I could feel some air being forced in to the train.
People have really started to take notice of the 'Doors will open on the right/left hand side'
Again, I still like the trains.

There are no trial runs anymore. 09TS are in service and have been for some time.

I missed 5 trains at Highbury & Islington and gave up. None to be seen. Then today at Kings Cross one raced out of the southbound platform just as I arrived and the next one was an 09TS too!
Aren't nearly half of the fleet now 09TS?
