I think this happened a few days after the 9-11 attacks, but here goes: A green "Standard Stock" train is in the middle platform at Uxbridge, with a destination of "Earls Court". I don't remember the setting for this dream--if it was in contemporary times or back when Standard Stock was on the Piccy. I have always wondered why the train would be painted green (going against the grain even in the "London Transport" era), and why would a Piccy have "Earls Court" as a final destination if there is no reversing siding. I dunno about the green livery but no problem with Earl's Court as a destination as Piccs can be routed into the District platforms and reversed! It isn't that long ago, within the last 6 or 7 years or so, that a Picc 73 stock got routed into Earls Court District platforms. Somewhere I have pictures to prove it taken by a quick thinking former colleague who was on duty in the control room at the time and just happened to have a camera to hand!
