fx: cries of "HE JUST WON'T STOP!!!" Given that the saloons of S stock will be a single contiguous space throughout the entire train, will the cabs of S stock be any larger than the cabs of existing stock? From the layman's perspective, the cabs seem cramped and decidedly un-ergonomic, especially when the driver has hangers-on such as AETs, DMTs or trainees. Would a roomier cab be desirable in such circumstances?

I haven't seen inside the cab of an Electrostar, but I have seen inside the cab of a Desiro, which does appear very roomy. How big is the Electrostar cab?

IMHO the D stock cab is the right size. I would have no objection to it being bigger though!

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

As the 'S' is a low floor train, the cab seems huge. I would estimate that the cab is slightly bigger than a 'D' but without my tape measure I cannot be certain. There is a full size spatial mock up of the cab in Derby, I will see if I can get permission to post some photos. Don't hold your breath though!
