So which platform would this be then, as you can't go south of Morden in passenger service?

Error clearly, I havent been to Morden since the lifts started operating, I would imagine the lift would goes to the Island platform?
As to going South.......almost happened.

Err, yes, you are correct, so clearly the lift goes to ONE of the Island platforms.

I suppose one could argue that all 3 platforms are Northbound, as you can't go Southbound from them
