Hi Everybody,
Just curious to know if anyone knows what the new track equipment is thats been installed at the front of most Northern line station platforms now.
In case you haven't seen it: Its four connectors, two on the positive rail, two on the negative rail with yellow pads, these are all connected and run back to a box located just within the tunnel. The box has a lit up warning to indicate the power is on. There are no other obvious cables connected to the boxes.
They appeared very recently and very quickly. Like I say, most stations now, I've definately clocked them at Belsize, Chalk Farm, Mornington, Camden and Archway.
Cheers!
