Thanks for making us aware of those photos Annie. I'm sure with the over the top security *police state* in the UK, it will difficult for anyone to get casual photos of T5 station.

That's a good point, I'm not sure which would be better, visit on the first public day when it will expected that people will be interested and will be taking photos; but equally the 'official' presence will be high. Alternatively wait until all the fuss has died down in a few days time but then run the risk of being deemed guilty of "suspicious" behaviour...

Will the first ever passenger train to T5 be the first one in the morning? (The 04.55 ex NFDT) or will there be a grand opening later in the day with all the top brass crawling out of the wood work??

This will be the first train in service. IIRC the grand opening has already taken place, plus of course it's not an LU station as such, so there may not even be one.
