New timetable starts tomorrow, with Heathrow trains split equally after Hatton X. Six an hour via T4, six an hour via 123, where they will detrain and run empty to T5 for training purposes. There will be up to three stablers at South Harrow each night, so make that three trains cancelled for graffiti next morning then There will also be trains reversing via Hammersmith sidings in the mornings to relieve congestion in the Acton Town area.

Mind the gap between trains then ;D When T5 opens, T4 will have the less priority than the Rayner's branch apparently - about time too! There will be up to three stablers at South Harrow each night, so make that three trains cancelled for graffiti next morning then The one train that stables there at present is fine. It's the one at Acton that is usually done. There will also be trains reversing via Hammersmith sidings in the mornings to relieve congestion in the Acton Town area. ;D ;D ;D ;D AT LAST! ;D ;D ;D ;D

But then won't that just shift the problem to Barons Court...? Or do they intend to put extra assistants on the platform to chuck out the train in double quick time?

At the moment they sit outside Acton waiting for trains to leave the sidings, as well as having trains come out both ends of Ealing Common on the district.

Do the times of the first/last trains to/from Heathrow via central London change then as well? From what I can tell, there are no significant differences. There might be a slight change at Heathrow 123 and 4 due to the running times changing, obviously.

Trains are indeed split on the Rayners branch as you have said, and the "short" trains are still there. Also, as the DVA/dot matrix will not be updated until passenger traffic starts to T5 in March, all trains will on the Heathrow branch will continue to be described as going to H123. In the cab we have two cards, one showing "Terminals 123 direct", with the other "Via Terminal 4". Depending on where the train, the relevant card will be displayed in the off side windscreen.

Is there any change to the use of the Local Lines, Northfields-Acton Town, and indeed Acton Town Local EB and WB platforms?

The (off peak Mon-Fri )service pattern will be: 6tph Cockfosters - Heathrow T123 (then to T5, they currently detrain at T123) 6tph Cockfosters - Heathrow T4 (stand, then to T123) 3tph Cockfosters - Uxbridge 3tph Cockfosters - Rayner's Lane 3tph Arnos Grove - Northfields Monday evening will be the real test of this new WTT!

Has the last train through central London changed at all, as I'm sure I rang up TfL before the new WTT started and it was 00:25 from KGX to Arnos, but tonight they said 00:45!

I'm sure I recall the last eastbound from Earls Court was at 0023 & the last westbound ex Earls Court was 0047.........mind you, that was about 5 years ago!! ;D ;D ;D ;D On that basis though, the times JTD's gives look quite correct EDIT: actually, seeing a syou've got net access (ie, if you can read this, you must have ;D ;D), you could simply look at the last times via the T fL website www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/1129.aspx

It certainly still gets to our stations at the same times - it arrives at Arnos at around 01:05 (give or take a minute either way, possibly...), and the journey from King's Cross to Arnos is about 20 minutes, so 00:45 looks about correct... are you sure you did not have a Sunday time in mind?

But the platform indicators (at least at Russell Square) are saying (somewhat confusingly) Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 & 5 or Heathrow Terminal 4 Wood Green's have also changed. A couple of spares went on a trip all the way to Heathrow recently to note down what was on each dot matrix as they went through - I was also spare that day and *severely* depressed at not being asked to go; anyone at Arnos that morning after they went will have heard some of my stupidest PA's ever as I tried to get over it.
