So I was having another look at this question when I noticed that the platforms in A have Southern rail branding instead of any TfL branding. That made me realise where it has to be. It's the southerly pair of platforms at Crystal Palace.
Based on that (and the clue provided upthread), I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that C is South Wimbledon with the link being stations on the Zone 3/4 boundary. That would make Abbey Road the odd one out as it's on the 2/3 boundary.
