The pattern on the window doesn't look like London to me. If it is, I am going to have to visit it once travel feels wise and possible. It is a great doorway.

Are there two parts to this question ? Yes, a main location (subject to usual 'on topic' quiz rules) and an what Chris has described as an "inset" but which is probably more of a foreground.

Anyone want to guess where this location and background/foreground/inset/whatever-you-want-to-call-a-non-main-location are?

I will suggest that the doorway is somewhere in Vienna, perhaps one of the older stations on the U-bahn.

The actual image looks like a station building rather than a bridge.
Surely that's the entrance to the Gents...

As my guess for the inset has now been blown out the water (not many palm trees in Brussels) I'm going to suggest Twyford for the main.

Eeek! Don't leave pram, pushchair or wheelchair unbraked on that!. I thought such ramps were supposed to be parallel to the platform, not encouraging rollaways direct on to the track. I recall changes made at Wembley Park at the MIP lift entrance on platform 1 for this sort of reason.
