Are they not the same location, just taken at different times?

I'd have said both Hornchurch - it'd be a huge co-incidence two find two locations that look that similar.

A very in-depth and correct answer from bigvern . Also blackhorsesteve shares the points. Location A - Summertime at Hornchurch station looking at Flats in Latimer Drive & Naunton Way - Leaves on Trees and Dry Platform blue sky. Location B - Wintertime at Hornchurch station looking at flats in Latimer Drive - Leaves Fallen and Wet Platform grey skies In fact they are images taken from the same place trying to match them - Location B is the earliest photo as vegetation is smaller. Location A the vegetation has grown to obscure the flats in Naunton Way (Left side of Picture) Dagenham East would be similar however the Platform has concrete slabs rather than tarmac and has more modern LU seat. So wondering perhaps the wrong image has been loaded if they were meant to be different station locations. Answer: Location A: Hornchurch - westbound platform in summer [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location B: Hornchurch - westbound platform in winter [ tangy ] The modifications to this image were made by tangy before being sent to me, the unmodified version is not available(click for a larger version)

Not quite right here. I took the first picture in July 2015, I don't know when tangy took the second picture other than before May 2020 which is when they sent it to me. It was only after deciding to use Hornchurch for yesterday that I was looking through all the photos I had of the station that I spotted the similarity and decided to use them together. They aren't quite similar enough for my first thought (overlaying one on the other) to work so after a bit of experimenting and playing around I ended up with the infinite tiled plane.
