Day 6 sees less confusion than Day 5, and a single part question, plus the return of ChrisM, so PM's to him please. *Click for larger version*

Gloucester Road, in the passage from the lifts to the platforms.
AFAIK it is the only four-flight arrow still in direct passenger-facing use on the entire Underground. The missing text includes one or more of PICCADILLY, KINGS CROSS, ARNOS GROVE and/or COCKFOSTERS.

Ah, thought it would be on the Picc, but took my chances. (Don't even remember if Goodge Street has green tiling or not!) ;D

AFAIK it is the only four-flight arrow still in direct passenger-facing use on the entire Underground. I'm pretty sure there are some at Harrow On The Hill, marking the entrances to the Ladies and Gents toilets.

Am I right in thinking that the older the sign, the more flights on the arrow? If so, and 4 flights were still in use in 1933 for the Cockfosters extension, when did they start reducing them?

Clapham Common has a four flight arrow as well. The S&SD intranet describe it as being from 1924.
