Between you you have all the locations. Location A is the odd one out but not for the reason given. Location A - Bakerloo Line, London Road Depot as viewed from Lambeth Road, from top of Bus.
Location B - District Line, Ealing Common Depot, East End of Main Depot Shed being extended for S7 stock, Viewed from WB train just north of Acton Town on Ealing Broadway/Rayners Lane branch incline.
Location C - Docklands Light Railway, Becton Depot as viewed from Amarda Way/Becton Gas Works
Location D - London Overground Depot at Willesden, (Formerly Willesden TMD) As viewed from Southern Train merging with West Coast main line at Willesden Junction.
Odd Location is A London Road depot has not been extended its lifetime, whereas all the other Depots have been extended to accommodate more/longer trains.
Answer: Location A: London Road Depot - view from number 12 bus in March 2014 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location B: Ealing Common Depot - shed extension from westbound District Line train in June 2014 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C: Beckton Deport - Single Car units at Beckton Depot in March 2019 [ Deep Level ] (click for a larger version) Location D: Willesden Depot - view from northbound Southern train in June 2019 [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

None of those. It is location related, nothing to do with physical attributes of the depot such as elevation or facilities
