Little Venice. Has TfL taken on the Regent's Canal services? Can't wait to see the Roundel.

Little Venice. Has TfL taken on the Regent's Canal services? Can't wait to see the Roundel. I imagine it'll be some kind of murky brown colour as that seems to be the default for most canals!

I’d concur with Little Venice. I’d suggest it was taken on an early May Bank Holiday weekend during the Inland Waterways Association’s Canal Cavalcade event... I wonder if it was last year when The Apprentice visited.

I imagine it'll be some kind of murky brown colour as that seems to be the default for most canals! Possibly including a partially-submerged shopping trolley!

The answer to todays quiz is Fairlop. When I was a postman I used to play cricket for the East Central district at Fairlop so I always remember the pillar box outside the station. And a multitude of guesses for the background. Answer: Main photo: Fairlop - pillar box in forecourt [Chris M] Background: Little Venice - 2016 Canalway Cavalcade festival [Chris M] (click for a larger version)
