I think A is my picture so I'll keep my mouth shut for that one and take a guess at Moor Park for C.

It's just dawned on me where D is, and I'm suitably embarrassed that I didn't identify it earlier. It's the disused platforms at Plaistow with London Road behind, a road I've walked up many times on my way to the station! I think the reason why I didn't spot that sooner is because there used to be a wall there so I always remember it that way.
Anyway, I think I've managed to deduce what the link is but I'm hesitant to say it because it will probably give away what A is. Therefore, I'll hold fire for a little bit. I will tell you that Plaistow is the odd one out though.

First out of the gate with a PM goldenarrow , who has three out of the four locations. Today’s location appear all to be parks with A being Westbourne Park, B being Queen’s, Moor Park for C and Woodgrange Park for D. Il hazard a guess that Location A Westbourne Park is the odd one out since it doesn’t have a name sake park like all the others do. Answer: Location A: Westbourne Park - West end of westbound platform [ xplaistow ] (click for a larger version) Location B: Queen's Park - Bakerloo line platforms [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C: Moor Park - hut (SER?) at north end of platforms 3 and 4 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location D: Plaistow - disused NR platforms from wb LU platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) The link and odd one out has nothing to do with parks, lets see if xplaistow has them.

My idea for the link is that these stations were all once served my mainline trains but they now all pass through without stopping. I was thinking that Plaistow was the odd one out as is isn't a Park (although it is one stop from a Park) but if the odd one out has nothing to do with that then my second guess is Queen's Park as it still sees service by Overground trains.

Yeah you've pretty much got it. My card says: National Rail services have been withdrawn from all these stations Odd one out: Queen's Park - only the fast line services have been withdrawn here, all NR services have been withdrawn from the others.
