From the 20th of this month, TfL will be running services between Paddington and Heathrow. This means that from that date the following stations will become on topic for the quiz: Acton Main Line Hanwell Hayes & Harlington Heathrow Central Heathrow Terminal 4 (Crossrail) Paddington (mainline) Southall West Ealing
I consider Crossrail to be calling at the same stations already served by LU at Ealing Broadway and Heathrow Terminal 5 so these are not differentiated. I debated whether Paddington (mainline) should be combined with Paddington (H&C) as part of the same station or not - comments more than welcome!
Additionally, Old Oak Common Depot and the lines between the stations will be on topic. The line and stations from Hayes & Harlington to Reading will become on topic in December 2019 when TfL services start.

I think Catastrophe Chris and the Quiz Team are to be applauded for bravely playing Russian Roulette with this extra workload which could well lead to further Quiz-Coding Complications and Server-Side Subsidence (if you'll pardon my alliteration). Onwards and upwards chaps and I look forward to the first Hayes and Harlington Horror from you all very shortly!

Didn't the H&C station at Paddington have a different name at one time?

I debated whether Paddington (mainline) should be combined with Paddington (H&C) as part of the same station or not - comments more than welcome! What's the current rule for joint/split stations? Gatelines, operational, or just a "feel" - and then apply that. There isn't a firm rule. Currently separate: Euston (LU, LO), Liverpool Street (LO/Crossrail, Crossrail, LU), Paddington (H&C, Bakerloo/SSR), Bank/Monument, and everything where there are clearly separate buildings (Canary Wharf, West Hampstead, Bethnal Green, Edgware Road, Shepherd's Bush, Shadwell, etc). Currently together: Highbury & Islington, Seven Sisters, Walthamstow Central, Romford, West Ham, Blackhorse Road, Elephant & Castle (Bakerloo/Northern), Waterloo (W&C/others), Richmond, Ealing Broadway (Central/District), Willesden Junction, Barking, Moorgate, Old STreet. If they ever become served by TfL or otherwise become on-topic for the forum (this is not a request!), then I'd very likely treat the NR portions of Blackfriars, Elephant and Castle, Kentish Town, Lewisham, West Hampstead Thameslink, St Pancras low-level, King's Cross, Charing Cross, Victoria, London Bridge, Canon Street, Waterloo, Waterloo East, etc. as separate stations. Greenwich, Richmond and Wimbledon would definitely be treated as part of the same station currently served by TfL. Woolworth Arsenal and Finsbury Park could go either way. Didn't the H&C station at Paddington have a different name at one time? Yes - Paddington (Bishop's Road). It's also sometimes referred to as Paddington Suburban.

Your brief keeps on increasing When I started the quiz in February 2007 it was just the LU stations (~270). With the DLR, Overground and Crossrail there are now 421 with some more to come!

Hmm, one underlying assumption I use in the spreadsheet databse I use to keep track of the quiz is that once on topic, always on topic... It would require some significant thought about how to deal with that should it occur. Then no doubt some significant work - just adding the new locations (the stations and the betweens I'm likely to be able to photograph) this time took the best part of an hour!
